My approach is empathic and non-judgemental. I tailor my approach to allow your needs to guide our work. At your own pace, we will address the cause of your distress and the behaviour patterns that are limiting your progress.
I am currently offering in-person opportunities for face-to-face counselling and psychotherapy sessions in Broomhill, Sheffield (The Practice Rooms) and Matlock, Derbyshire (Matlock Therapy Centre).
My background is in the area of psychology and mental health. My approach to counselling is integrative. I use a blend of several methods and theories to support clients through their difficulties. This includes person-centred therapy, attachment, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and compassion focused therapy.
I aim to help clients develop an understanding of how their problem came about in order to settle on an appropriate way forward from which people will derive long lasting benefit.
