Hello, I’m Helen. I am a Chartered Psychologist and fully accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. I have a lot of experience of working with people to overcome difficulties they may be encountering. We all experience times in our lives when things can feel too much, or we may become ‘stuck’. By talking together in therapy we can work to understand the problems you are facing, and develop skills to support you moving forward.
My main approaches are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and EMDR. We work together to decide which approach is best suited to what you are experiencing.
It can feel like a big decision to make an appointment for talking therapy. Please let me know if I can support you in any aspect of this process.
