I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and I provide psychological therapy for adults facing challenges with emotional difficulties such as anxiety, grief, trauma related issues and low mood. We all experience low mood and anxiety at times in our lives. Sometimes this can feel difficult to manage and psychological therapy can help.
An area of specialism is Clinical Health Psychology, helping people whose psychological difficulties relate to dealing with physical illness such as cancer.
Some people I work with have a history of difficult experiences in childhood or traumatic experiences at any stage in life.
Psychological therapy involves working with you to build understanding of how emotional difficulties have developed and then working together to help you towards the goals you have for the therapy. Clinical health psychology is an area of psychology that focuses on the emotional and psychological aspects of physical health and illness.
