Hi, my name is Gareth of Hebden Counselling. I have been in practise for 16 years. My approach offers an empathic, unjudgmental framework on which you, the client can confidently and congruently explore your issues, feelings and emotions in the comfortable space of Springfield House on Albert St in Hebden Bridge in the heart of the Pennines with great access from Manchester/Leeds/Bradford and there surrounding towns and all areas in between. The counselling I offer is a deep explorative counselling approach which utilises an apex of counselling approaches with the focus on you, the client, and your needs. Feel free to get in touch
My approach is an integrative counselling approach utilising the tools that are on offer from many approaches such as Person-Centred, TA (transactional analysis), CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) & IEMT, an approach which works with eye movement, all of which I have qualifications in as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist, which assist in your healing journey.
If difficulties from the past, painful experiences in the present or worries about the future are leaving you feeling distressed or struggling to face day to day life then counselling can provide an opportunity to share, evaluate and challenge your issues with the aim of changing those patterns and feelings in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space.
