I am a highly qualified Assessing Therapist, Supervisor and Counsellor who is passionate about supporting my clients. My aim is to create a trusting, safe and comfortable space for you to be able to express your concerns. By combining my variety of skills and experience, I am able to tailor my therapy to suit your needs. I have experience with children and adolescents (referrals from schools, charities, social services and other agencies), as well as extensive work with adults (and couples) in my private practice and working with an employee assistance programme.
I work with talking and creative therapies, tools from both CBT (analysing our cognitive thought patterns), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Emotional Therapeutic Counselling (how past experiences lead us to certain patterns of behaviour), The Rewind Technique (NLP - reframing past memories into positive memories).
I love being able to help my clients understand why they are feeling like they do and working together to make improvements in their overall wellbeing. I have experienced anxiety and depressive issues and decided to re-train as a Counsellor to help support others. I am available throughout the week in the day time and early evening.
