About
If you change nothing, nothing changes but it can be hard to know where to begin. I feel it starts with you being heard and valued. Having your story and your feelings witnessed and validated is extraordinarily powerful and provides the catalyst for change. You will gain a clarity and a sense of perspective as well as an understanding of why you behave in the way you do. Talking to me will feel different from talking to a friend or family member. I will offer you insights and reflections, not opinions or solutions. I am interested in you and your experiences and they matter to me, but as I'm not involved I can remain objective.
I work with individuals and couples. Together, we will look at what is bringing you to therapy and work towards finding a new way forward. As an integrative counsellor, I will use different skills to facilitate this shift, tailored to your personal need. i.e. with eating disorders I may use more practical interventions than in my grief or relationship work.
My aim is to help you work through whatever is troubling you, whether its to gain greater clarity into a current problem or to explore more deep rooted issues. Working together in therapy can be an empowering experience. It will give you the confidence to rediscover your full potential and decide what you want for yourself in the future.
