I'm Katie, a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor and I'm waiting to help you. I can help if you have been diagnosed with anxiety or depression, or if you are simply feeling stressed out from work, life and everything else then we can work together to get you over this bump in the road. Sometimes simply being listened to and having a safe space to unload that mental load you have been carrying can have a transformative effect, and I can provide that safe space for you. Counselling can help you to first identify your goals, and then to achieve them, let me guide you through the process at your own pace.
I specialise in bereavement counselling, having had a few significant losses in my own life, and I believe that although grief is a natural process that we have to go through after a loss, sometimes we can get stuck in that grief. I can help you to be able to get unstuck, whilst still keeping an all important bond with your loved one.
Counselling has helped me personally over the years, and I remember how daunting it felt to reach out for help for the first time, but once I had had my first few sessions I wished I had done it sooner. I feel like I wasted a long time struggling to work out why I felt the way I did and not knowing what to do about it before I had counselling, so why wait?
