I am a warm hearted, open-minded individual who understands how difficult taking the first steps into counselling can sometimes be. Many people have 'life events' that bring them to counselling such as relationship breakdown, bereavement, or redundancy. Often feelings that accompany these life events can lead to depression and anxiety. Or it may be that suppressed or undesired feelings keep recurring, leading to painful repeating patterns of behavior or outcomes in your life. My role in your therapeutic journey is to facilitate your awareness, to gently challenge perspective where appropriate and to walk alongside you at your pace.
