Hello, I’m Catherine a Psychotherapist (MBACP, MNCPS (Acc.) who specialises in the treatment of Complex Trauma. I'm deeply committed to creating a safe and nurturing space where you can feel supported in navigating life’s challenges. I believe that everyone has the strength within them to heal and grow, and my role is to help you uncover that strength while guiding you through the process. As the founder of the private practice Healing and Happy I assist clients by providing validating, empowering and life transforming therapy.
Using evidence-based techniques like CBT, humanistic approaches, mindfulness-based and somatic-focused treatment, I create a therapy plan specifically to meet your goals. I will work with you to explore your past, present and future and simultaneously build long lasting internal resources which may help you actively promote positive changes in your life.
I understand that starting therapy can be a difficult and emotional experience, so I offer an initial consultation to allow you to see if working with me feels right for you. With a warm and collaborative style, I provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment to help you build resilience, healthier coping strategies and strengthen self-esteem.
