I am a Dr of Clinical Psychology and EMDR therapist with over twenty years qualified experience working in the NHS. I can offer tailored assessment and formulation to understand your difficulty and consider what type of support will help you. I am particularly passionate about offering therapeutic support to adults and adolescents experiencing distress from trauma and stress. If you have PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) or you are feeling stuck re-experiencing your difficult experiences, struggling with sleep or struggling with anxiety/low mood/ irritability following trauma then I can offer help with these difficulties.
I can work with adults and older adolescents individually. I work with young people with their parents/carers. I can offer face to face or online appointments, or a combination of the two depending on your preference. I am trained in a number of therapeutic approaches including EMDR, DDP, CBT, ACT, DBT, and systemic psychotherapy.
It can be difficult to ask for support and to know whether a therapist is the right fit for you. I am happy to offer a free telephone consultation to discuss how I may be able to help. I am available to offer therapy on Thursdays during the day.
