Worried about your child or teenager but don't know where to turn? Look no further! I offer relaxed and friendly 40-minute therapeutic interventions suited to your child's needs. My clients are always free to talk through their problems with me, but they are equally welcome to work through things at a gentler pace by expressing themselves via creative activities or play. This is particularly useful for children who may struggle to put thoughts or feelings into words, or who worry about doing so. I have 30 years of varied work experience, always passionately striving to uncover the true potential of many children and young people.
Play & Creative Arts Therapy is a wonderful, developmentally appropriate intervention that alleviates social, emotional and mental health issues. Through play and art, clients can safely explore traumatic events, problematic behaviours and worries. This grows self-awareness and resilience, inspiring playful experimentation of healthier behaviours / thoughts.
