I am a qualified Senior Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and have been working in the NHS for 7 years. I currently work as the Perinatal Lead in a London based NHS service. I deliver evidenced based CBT for a range of mental health disorders such as depression, health anxiety, OCD, generalised anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety, phobias, BDD, low self esteem, perfectionism and PTSD. Clients I often work with report critical thinking patterns and unhelpful behaviours that maintain their difficulties. Together we develop a compassionate and empowering dialogue to challenge these and improve emotional wellbeing.
I specialise in perinatal mental health and take a compassionate focused approach to enable expecting, new and existing parents to overcome the challenges that accompany parenthood. I guide treatment with an aim to ensure individuals feel emotionally contained, enhancing their ability to tolerate difficult experiences on a daily basis.
Collaboration is key to therapy.  I endeavour to first understand an individual's current and past difficulties and then work together towards agreed goals. I am passionate about working with individuals to improve their mental health and everyday lives, developing new and lasting change.
