Life's struggles can often bring difficult and painful emotions to the surface, and if there has been difficulty in our childhood (such as trauma or divergence) we may find that we do not have the skills to deal with, process, or even understand these big feelings. How we cope with our feelings can have a huge impact on how we show up and respond to different situations, relationships and work, having a further impact on our relationship to ourselves and our mental wellbeing. As a humanistic integrative therapist, I believe that a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship is essential for effective therapy.
I work with a relational and developmental lens, allowing me to develop a full picture of your world view and beliefs. I offer a confidential and non-judgmental, safe space, that provides containment and stability as we explore what has brought you here.
I have special interest and/or additional training in: childhood, relational and sexual trauma, BDSM, kink and alternative sex culture, ADHD and neurodiversity, and managing personality disorders. Although I prefer long term work, I do offer short term depending on your unique therapy needs.
