I am a fully qualified am warm and compassionate psychotherapeutic counsellor. The counselling process as a creation between the two of us, building a relationship and working together. I will tailor the work around you, depending on what issues. I believe people can change and grow and be empowered to make decisions for yourself through exploration and time.
I have experience of working with clients who have experienced trauma, including childhood trauma and PTSD. I work with helping the client feel safe and stable and use various techniques to reduce their symptoms of trauma. I will share theory and focus on empowering you to improve your life in whatever way you feel is right for you.
Reaching out is a brave step, but I understand its not always an easy one and you may be feeling worried about the process. I will provide a safe space for you to share your issues, openly with no judgement. I will be reflective and curious but I believe in working at your own pace and will never make you share anything you feel uncomfortable with.
