About
Do you sometimes feel alone, with no one to lean on for support? Do you feel overwhelmed by difficult or challenging life events and want help to feel like yourself again? Within a counselling session, I can support you as you explore and understand your situation, identify helpful techniques or coping strategies, and set and work towards personal goals. I work with adults and young people aged 11+, and provide support for a wide range of physical and emotional difficulties. I have specialist experience in supporting people living with chronic/long-term health conditions, and those who are bereaved or preparing for a bereavement.
I believe that each person is the expert of their own experience. I work collaboratively with clients to achieve greater understanding, increased clarity, reduced distress, and fulfilment of their highest potential. I use techniques from various models of counselling to ensure that each clients’ experience, needs and goals are at the heart of each session.
I believe that everyone can benefit from a safe, non-judgemental, confidential space to discuss difficult or challenging life events. We do not need to be at or near to crisis to benefit from therapy. If you feel ready to begin this journey, please get in touch for more information or a free 20 minute consultation.
