I believe that psychotherapy is more of an art form than a science, however, my degree is in social science and as such the theories and concepts used in forensic and social psychology influence my practice.
My approach is both person centred and psychodynamic and is informed by my own recovery from addiction. I have many years of experience working with violent offenders and people experiencing serious mental health problems. I have worked as a psychotherapist and group facilitator in community projects, drug treatment centres, prisons and private practice since 2003.
