As a BABCP accredited CBT therapist with over 12 years experience working in mental health settings including community-based services, mental health charities, talking therapies, primary care, and CAMHS, I am here to work with you on your journey towards positive change.
On a personal level, I have lived experience of mental health struggles and in particular have specialist experience and interest in the areas of sports performance, pregnancy/ postpartum, eating disorders and relationships.
I currently specialise in assessing and treating eating disorders, but also have a wealth of experience treating depression and anxiety disorders including OCD and PTSD. I offer evidence based CBT interventions as my primary treatment. This includes third wave approaches such as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and compassion focused therapy (CFT).
I would love the opportunity to support you on your personal recovery journey by drawing upon my own lived experience of mental illness and combining this with my professional knowledge of evidence based treatment, along with your own unique experience. We all need support at times in our life so we should never feel afraid to reach out for help.
