I am a Clinical Psychologist working with adults in both the NHS and private practice in South West London. I am a firm believer that the most important part of therapy is the relationship between the client and therapist; change can only happen from a foundation in which you feel heard and understood. Despite this, I don't see therapy as a space simply to talk and be listened to. I will share interpretations, observations, and gently challenge patterns or assumptions that might be contributing to your difficulties, inviting you to look at things from a different perspective.
I offer a psychotherapeutic approach which means that we explore your thoughts, feelings, and relationships in depth together, to understand how past experiences and unconscious patterns may be shaping your current difficulties. The aim is not just to reduce symptoms, but to help you to gain greater self-awareness and insight.
Because of the depth and nature of this work, I primarily offer therapy on a face-to-face basis. Meeting in person helps to create the safe, reflective space needed for this kind of exploration.
