Hello and welcome to this page. Whatever your reason for seeking therapy I offer a safe, confidential space for you to speak freely and be listened to fully. I have a wealth of experience working with all kinds of mental health issues in many different settings, including charities and the NHS. This means I am used to working with complexity and a large variety of presenting issues. My approach is holistic and I take into account many factors in formulating a way for us to work effectively and collaboratively together.
I specialise in trauma recovery work. This means paying attention to your nervous system and how this may have been affected by events in your life. My other areas of interest are relational psychotherapy, somatic (body) awareness and the transpersonal. Its hard to describe all of these here, however they underpin the therapy that I offer.
For individuals and couples, I offer a safe space for you to explore your issues and start to move forward in the ways you would like to. To start with I offer a free 20 minute phone consultation, so you can ask any questions and get a sense of what therapy with me may be like. I look forward to hearing from you. Warm wishes, Hannah.
