Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. I am a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist and have worked in mental health services in the NHS for over 10 years. I currently work in the NHS, in adult mental health services and I also work in private practice. As a Psychologist, I offer evidence-based assessments, formulation and psychological interventions for a wide range of difficulties, which might include; anxiety, depression, trauma, loss and relationship difficulties. My main area of clinical expertise is working with people who have experienced trauma.
I draw on a range of psychological models and theories; including, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR and relational approaches. I have undertaken further training and I am an Accredited Practitioner in EMDR. Following an assessment, I support clients to make sense of their experiences and consider which psychological intervention is most appropriate.
I understand that accessing psychological therapy can be challenging, therefore I ensure that a confidential, non-judgmental and therapeutic space is provided.
