My primary therapeutic grounding is in Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), an approach to change that’s solution focused, practical and geared towards achieving goals specific to your life circumstances and challenges you feel are holding you back. Over the years, I've done extensive professional training so I tailor my approach to each unique individual. My ideal client is curious, open to discussing and exploring ideas and keen to pursue lasting personal transformation. This a real challenge which takes great courage. Successful therapy requires some degree of trust in the process and collaborative therapeutic alliance.

Sometimes old patterns from past or present relationships are made live in therapy, so they can be worked through. My approach is very honest and compassionate, using moment by moment awareness and dialogue to explore the role and function of those patterns that are no longer helpful or effective, treating trauma and building resilience.

Working together, you will gain greater insight into the difficulties you are facing, understand why you act or react the way you do, and see how you can start to make better, heathier choices. Therapy takes place in a safe space, where you can meet with someone who will listen with sensitivity and empathy – and without judgement.
