As part of being a Psychologist, I am passionate about working with people, finding where they can gain more power in their life to affect the changes they want to see. I work with people with a wide range of difficulties and am keen to help them to contextualise their difficulties within their life experiences, to support the dropping of the toxic self-blame which often keeps people snagged, and to think about alternative ways of relating to themselves and others which opens up choices about where they might take their life in the future.
I am a qualified Clinical Psychologist with expertise working across Adult Mental Health, Physical Health (Long-Term Conditions) and Child, Adolescent and Family settings. I work as part of a socially conscious organisation, hemotion (www.hemotion-uk.com), where profits are reinvested to projects increasing access to psychological support for men and boys.
In my practice I always hope to express compassion, that is sensitive to the needs of those I'm communicating with. In this sense, I think I'm a friendly guy, and would welcome your inquiry.
