Starting counselling can feel daunting, but it’s a courageous step toward healing and self-discovery. I’m a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, in addition I have over 20 years’ experience as a Social Worker, working with trauma, abuse, domestic violence, anxiety, low-mood and depression. I offer person-centred, trauma-informed therapy in a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. I have a particular interest in working with childhood trauma, survivors of abuse and relationships challenges. Whatever you’re facing, you don’t have to do it alone.
I offer person-centred counselling and psychotherapy. With my knowledge of trauma, I can support a client to explore their past and work though difficult experiences. I can also help clients to work through anxiety and find ways to manage low-mood. I offer discounts for Domestic Abuse survivors as this is an area I also have specialist experience/training in
Coming to counselling can feel difficult and overwhelming. Thinking about sharing your deepest thoughts and challenges brings vulnerability. Trusting a stranger with such personal and delicate information about yourself can be challenging. However, I offer a safe and non-judgemental space where it is okay to be vulnerable and explore difficult feelings
