Are you looking for help with anxiety or depression? Is it hard to make sense out of your life and your identity as a male or female?...whether its work, family, or relationship related?...are you willing to work honestly and to be challenged?...you will be hoping for an empathic and non judgemental approach...and will be prepared to focus on how you and I can work together to bring about the changes that you need in your life. Are you open to new ways of working on old problems, even if the journey feels rather scary? You won't be alone in this process. Couples therapy is a specialism and I am also a "male friendly" therapist.
As a mature experienced counsellor also qualified to train others, I can help you with anxiety, depression, bereavement and a host of relationship based problems. I am also a Couples Counsellor, with a particular interest in men's issues coming from a woman's perspective. I work with heterosexual and same sex relationships and also do some family work.
I will try to ensure that you have the space to talk about your needs in a safe way...will endeavour to work at your pace...and will commit to the time necessary to work on your issues if you are prepared to make the experiment with me.
