Hello and Welcome. Talking to someone should be one of the easiest things to do. But when it comes to emotions and feelings these can get stuck and tangled, making it difficult to communicate. My name is Gill and I have been a counsellor for over 17 years and have extensive experience working with clients, suffering losses and bereavement. I provide a clear space for people to explore and sit safely with where they are at. The positive environment I create allows you to seek your own conclusions maintaining your autonomy. I have held many clients of all ages struggling with loss, anxiety, bereavement and relationship difficulties.
The way I work comes from a person centred approach that I adapt to your individual needs and your way to communicate. This means I am happy to work creatively which may involve working with images and dreams and art material. I can also work to support and explore your childhood memories and feelings. I am happy to work on Zoom, telephone and In-Person.
I understand that this is a daunting position to be in. Taking that first step can feel nerve wracking. I want to make things easier for you to take this first step, so I offer a free initial chat to see if I am the right person for you. Our work together can take place through short or longer term support, depending on your needs.
