Entering into counselling can be daunting and scary. Whatever it is that brings you to counselling we will work together with a freedom for you to "be" without judgement or criticism. It is often about gaining a greater understanding of where we find ourselves now as well as giving a voice to our experiences and feelings, often for the first time. Together we can work towards a brighter and more positive future for you.
By creating the structure and consistency of counselling I offer a safe and secure space for us to work through what is bringing you to the room. I have 16 years experience in the counselling world dealing with a range of issues including but not exclusively; palliative care, depression, anxiety, identity, self harm and family dynamics to name a few.
Modern life is full of challenges that at times are too difficult to be tackled alone or in silence. Together with compassion, respect and through a mutual working relationship we will aim to understand how things are for you now and how to move forward to where you want to be.
