My past experience as an operational firefighter for 20years has moulded my approach to life. I offer a non-judgemental safe place for the client to explore any issues they may have. A particular area of interest for me is the effect of a difficult past on the psyche, whether childhood or later life trauma . I use an integrated method of therapy which enhances my ability to help the client make the changes they desire. I am friendly and empathic with first hand appreciation of the challenges we all face.
My particular area of interest is ACE’s(Adverse Childhood Experience). Often I see clients who are suffering in part to the unconscious automated responses they experience years later in adult life. My integrated methods include several approaches and interventions for the client base who now include many young people.
Why me? I am warm and empathic , very down to earth, kind and gentle. My career is my passion, the clients needs are paramount. I have an adult family of my own and have personal experience of depression and anxiety.
