I work as an adolescent and adult Counsellor based in East London. As well as my own private practice, I work in schools, universities and in the domestic abuse sector with victim-survivors of domestic abuse. I am a fully registered BACP member and integrate a variety of different therapeutic modalities, including person-centred and humanistic therapy, body therapy, art/play therapy, mindfulness and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to meet each person’s specific needs.
I start from the understanding that no matter how old we are, our early experiences and relationships are significant for our psychological development. The most important thing to me, however, is providing an open and non-judgemental space where people can feel safe to explore what they need to and move towards understanding and growth.
I understand how difficult it can be to approach someone for help when you are feeling vulnerable. If you’ve got this far, you’re already doing it.
