I provide person‑centred art psychotherapy for clients living with disabilities, chronic pain, long‑term health conditions, and mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and low self‑esteem.
Art psychotherapy can be valuable even if you feel unsure about creativity or don’t see yourself as “artistic.” The focus is not on producing artwork but on using materials to explore experiences, process difficult thoughts, and gain clarity from a different perspective. Creative expression can offer a safe, accessible way to communicate feelings that may be hard to put into words.
I have experience supporting clients adjusting to new diagnoses, managing chronic pain, and coping with distressing social anxiety. I also facilitate creative wellbeing & group art therapy, including groups for chronic pain and carers.
My practice is informed by my own lived experience of disability, low mood, and coming to terms with major life transitions. This has shaped my commitment to offering a compassionate, inclusive space where people can explore thoughts and feelings, express, and make sense of their inner world through creative means.
