About
Art therapy enabled me to process my own past traumas, it has given me the empathy and determination to help others to see more clearly what is going on for them in the present, often through gaining a better understanding of their past. I work mostly with adolescents (aged 12-25) and adults. Helping them to process issues such as anxiety, bullying, stress, identity, grief and bereavement.
I offer one-to-one and group therapy sessions in schools, colleges and university settings. I also offer face-to-face sessions for individuals at my premises in Barnsley. I have experience working with adult carers, young people with learning difficulties, and physical disabilities and young people from the LGBTQ+ community.
I have a passion for art therapy and strongly believe everyone can learn to communicate through creative means.
