Hello, I am an experienced therapist offering counselling sessions for adults and young people aged 14 and over. I provide professional insight and perspectives in approaching problems to enhance well being and create an overall positive change in understanding. This helps make meaning out of life in the "here and now" and also provides support with ongoing benefits in making life choices for the future. When situations or context do not have solutions, supporting the process of emotional healing is the focus of therapy.
I work with a range of issues for example: Eating disorders, Self-harm, Abuse, Anxiety, Bereavement, Depression, Loss, Post-traumatic stress, Trauma, Asperger syndrome, Disability, Health related issues, Identity issues, Self esteem, Sexual identity, Spirituality, Women's issues, Infertility/Pregnancy, Narcissism and family dynamics, including estrangement.
I currently work with young adults, mature students, staff and private clients who are looking to overcome emotional barriers to feel better within themselves. This includes feeling more settled and emotionally well. I also have a specialism in working with adult survivors of sexual abuse for anyone seeking support in this area of care. Thank you.
