As a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with over 16 years of experience across the NHS and private sector, I bring a compassionate and skilled approach to psychological care. Before qualifying as a Doctor of Clinical Psychology, I worked as a mental health nurse, therapist and manager of two children's mental health services, gaining extensive experience supporting adults, children and families. My clinical work has included supporting people with anxiety, low mood, neurodiversity, eating disorders, and PTSD, with a particular focus on trauma-informed and relational approaches.
I offer a range of evidence-based therapies, including EMDR, Eating Disorder–specific Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT-E), the Maudsley Model of Anorexia Treatment for Adults (MANTRA), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Video Interactive Guidance (VIG).
I work collaboratively with other professionals, including schools, when needed to ensure that support is comprehensive and coordinated. In addition to my clinical work, I lecture on Clinical Psychology Doctoral courses, bringing applied clinical experience into postgraduate training and supporting the development of future clinical psychologists.
