If you have come to a point in your life where things have become too much and you feel you or a member of your family need some extra support, then counselling is a great way to reach out. Through building an honest and trustworthy relationship, I aim to help my clients understand and overcome their difficulties whilst developing tools to help them in the future. I am an integrative counsellor, which means I draw from a number of different approaches to counselling. This allows for an open space where we can explore different ideas and find what works best for you. This may include creative work, looking at theory, or mindfulness.
I have worked with many adults and young people who come to me with symptoms of depression and anxiety. These seem to be the most common signs that signal something is wrong. I can help you understand these feelings and together we can workout how to create change so you can live a more meaningful life and feel better connected to yourself and others.
Life is hard and trying to manage it when our mental health is suffering, can feel near impossible. Let someone help. I see every person as a unique individual who has the right to be heard. I offer a space were I encourage you to talk freely without fear of judgement or reproach. Please get in contact if you would like to chat and find out more about me.
