People seek counselling for many reasons. Sometimes they don't actually know what they are looking for until they start talking. My professional and lived experience tells me that if you give it a go, therapy with the right counsellor, can really make a difference.
That difference might mean being able to cope with current life events or unpacking past experiences. It might mean exploring difficult feelings, developing self esteem, looking at personal relationships or learning to understand your needs, or all of the above. The process is different for everyone and everyone deserves to be heard in a safe space.
As a therapist I work from an integrative framework, this means I draw from a variety of ways of working to best suit your needs. My background is primarily in mental health, community counselling, and working with survivors of rape and sexual abuse. I have an interest in working with neurodivergance, parenting and what we bring to relationships.
