People enter counselling for many reasons, perhaps what’s needed is a safe space to really be heard, others may have more specific ideas about what they want from sessions. Whatever your needs are, I am here to help. Are there unresolved issues from the past you’d like the discuss? Maybe what’s going on right now is more important to you, or perhaps you’d like explore the relationship between your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. However we work together, your needs will always be the central focus.
How I work is based upon a relational, psychodynamic approach that also draws upon philosophical influences. I engage in each interaction with a blank slate, devoid of assumptions, fostering an environment that demystifies the process of therapy to create a relationship based on trust, genuine care, and authenticity.
