You're finding life hard, feeling stuck, or you need to work through something and make changes. Perhaps you are struggling with anxiety, low mood, relationship problems, work issues, or low self-esteem. Within the safety of a therapeutic relationship, we can understand the ways in which you have learned to cope with what has happened in your life. I offer Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) aimed at understanding the repeating patterns of how you relate to yourself and to others in ways that keep your difficulties going. Recognising the patterns ultimately allows you to make lasting positive changes to live a fulfilling life.
I have worked as a clinical psychologist in the NHS for 18 years with people who struggle with their mental and emotional health. I aim to support people to better understand themselves and make changes in their life. I have a particular interest in working with healthcare professionals - either for therapy or to provide clinical supervision.
If you are struggling, please do get in touch. We can have a brief conversation to find out if I am a good fit for you and if so, arrange to meet for an assessment. I would like to help you make sense of what is difficult in a compassionate way so you can see how life can be different and then make the changes which are right for you.
