Do you find yourself struggling with the ways that past trauma, insecurities, low self-esteem and/or people pleasing are impacting on your life?
I’m Gemma Holden, a qualified person-centred counsellor. I try to be as responsive as possible to client needs, blending my core approach with psychoeducation and creative methods to best suit the individual.
I aim to create a space where you can feel safe and empowered to begin, or continue, your therapeutic journey.

- Living with the after effects of trauma
- Helping you to understand where people pleasing tendencies comes from and how to address them
- Increasing your self-esteem and self-worth through self-awareness
Together, we will work towards your understanding of the ways in which you may feel stuck, and build trust in yourself and your abilities, to allow acceptance, healing and growth.
I also offer Walk and Talk therapy which can be an alternative for those clients for whom the therapy room environment may create a barrier due to anxiety or neurodivergence
