I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and I have worked in NHS mental health services for over thirteen years. In our initial session we will focus on what has brought you along, what you want to get out of our appointments and the best approach for you. I am trained in different evidence-based psychological therapies and tailor work to the indvidual. I prioritise working in an honest, collaborative and compassionate way that focuses on relationships. I work with people of all ages but have expertise with adolescents and young adults.
I am trained in Interpersonal Psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (including CBT for PTSD and Eating Disorders). I integrate these with other therapies including systemic therapy, distress tolerance, compassion focused and mentalization based approaches. I use these to work with a range of difficulties.
