I work predominantly with queer, neurodivergent clients as I believe that it is essential to work with a therapist that understands your lived experience of being queer in a heteronormative and neurotypical world. I am always clear about the boundaries of my competence, and will let you know in the assessment session if I believe that I can be a useful and enriching therapist for you.
I am a queer neurodivergent therapist, with AuDHD myself, and I accept that the client ultimately is the expert in themselves. I am there to offer support and gentle curiosity in working out how cycles of behaviour and experience impact and impede our lives, and what we can do together to make positive shifts and lasting change.
When you send an enquiry, I will respond within 3-7 days with some options for a free of charge assessment session. This usually lasts between 20 and 60 minutes. After which, you can decide whether you would like to proceed, in your own time. The sessions take place online, and last 50 minutes. I will send a payment and Zoom link before each session.
