I am experienced in a range of different psychological approaches including CBT, CFT, ACT and use a narrative approach.
I am experienced in a range of different psychological approaches. The key approaches that inform my practice are, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), compassion- focussed therapy (CFT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and draw on narrative and systemic therapy. I try where possible to adopt a decolonised approach within my therapeutic work
I offer a more personalised approach to therapy, thinking together with the client about which approach(es) may suit them more. Working with children and young people, I am happy to adapt therapy, be as creative as we can online together. I know coming for therapy can lead to many emotions feelings, I will provide a compassionate, judgement free space.
