I am a psychotherapist and coach working with individuals and couples. I help people clarify how they want to live, relate and show up — and support them in making that real in their everyday lives. My work draws on a variety of therapeutic approaches and philosophies, which you can find out more about here or on my website. Regardless of the format I work in, I offer a space where every part of you is welcome — especially the parts you don’t like — and the opportunity to begin offering that same unconditional acceptance to yourself.
My approach draws on several therapeutic models, and I adapt how I work to each person's needs and preferences. I use two main therapeutic approaches — Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). My couples work is guided by my training in Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO), which is the IFS approach to working with relationships.
While it can be interesting to learn about the different therapeutic approaches, research consistently shows that what matters most is the quality of the relationship between therapist and client.
