Welcome to Gateway Counselling (Lanarkshire). My name is Rosamond and I am available to offer counselling within a secure environment in order to explore whatever is happening in your life. Here at Gateway we understand that there are times in our lives when we feel overwhelmed, at a loss and without hope concerning our past, our present and even our future. As Steve Jobs said “sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick”. It is because of this that i, myself, undertook personal counselling. This then led to my desire to reach out to others who face trauma and challenges in life where professional support and help is needed.
As an experienced counsellor I am able to provide a safe and confidential environment in which to talk, explore and process the issues and challenges for which you are seeking help. Part of the counselling process will also include equipping you with therapeutic tools. These will enable you to move forward with your life in a positive and fulfilling way.
For those who have never experienced counselling before it can be quite a daunting thought to make the first step of contacting a counsellor for help. I would like to reassure you that an initial session will take place where your needs and concerns can be discussed. It will be after this that an agreement will be made by us both concerning future sessions.
