There can me many experiences and events that can impact on our mental health and wellbeing, whether they be struggles that we have experienced since childhood and or current changes and life events that we are facing. I am a warm friendly compassionate, understanding therapist and will provide you with a welcoming non-judgemental space in which you can feel safe to express your innermost feelings and work towards a better understanding of your feelings and current experiencing.
I have been working professionally for over 25 years as a therapist. I have worked in a wide variety of settings including charities and 14 years within NHS psychological therapy services. I work in a humanistic person-centred way and have particular experience in working with depression, anxiety, loss and adjustment, relationship breakdown, self-worth.
I understand that reaching out and seeking help can be a big step, and that it can be difficult for some to open up and talk about their feelings. Therefore I recognise the importance in creating a relaxed compassionate space where you can feel safe, understood, validated and supported on your journey through therapy and that will always be my priority.
