Hello! I am a Professional Integrative counsellor and I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). There is a strong person centred element to the way i work, but I also combine different modalities, according to the need of the individual. I believe everyone has the resources within them to grow and become more fulfilled. My focus is developing an atmosphere of trust, where self-acceptance and psychological healing can take place. We will work together in an environment free from negativity and judgement, where you can safely explore your issues and emotions.
My counselling experience has been gained through working in Primary Mental Health Support Services (NHS), providing 1:1 counselling to individuals, with a diverse range of mental health issues, such as depression, anger management, stress, anxiety, trauma, bereavement and suicidal thoughts. I offer a dedicated, professional and friendly service.
Life is challenging. The emotional strains that blight us can have a huge impact on our quality of life. Talking about your problems isn't easy but it helps. Maintaining good mental health is vital to our ability to engage with the world in a positive way and to connect with ourselves in a way that allows us the capacity to grow and develop healthily.
