Acknowledging you need help and contacting a therapist takes courage and wisdom. It might be a current crisis or on-going emotional difficulties stopping you from enjoying life. Therapy can be a unique experience which can be transformative, and in which we can safely access the true essence of ourselves. It is a meaningful journey on many levels. Many of life's challenges which are seen as "normal "by society actually involve trauma. These wounds left unattended to can lead to many issues such as anxiety, shame, anger, depression, addiction.
I have been practicing for 20 years; I work with a wide range of issues such as addictions, anxiety, relationships, loss,complex trauma, abuse, self-esteem and many more. You may have had therapy before but would like to reach new depths in your process...i have significant knowledge and experience for us to go " there" together in a safe way.
My life's experiences underpin my choice to become a therapist; it made no sense to do anything else. I trained for 6 yrs and of course use my skills and knowledge, but my main tool is my heart. I offer an environment of presence, warmth, humour and connection between us.
