I provide compassionate and creative psychological therapy to children and adolescents who may be struggling with low self-esteem, trauma, anxiety or other social and emotional difficulties. I will work together with you (parents/carers) and your child to understand what might be underlying their difficulties and what might be the best approach for them.
With 15+ years experience (including schools and CAMHS), I’ve developed an integrative approach informed by person-centred, narrative, solution-focussed, and cognitive therapies. Art and play are a big part of my work, especially for primary age children. I help children process and express their experiences and develop skills to navigate life’s challenges.
I know it can be difficult to know what therapy is right for your child, and it may also feel hard to reach out for help for different reasons. I welcome you to contact me with any questions and/or to arrange an initial consultation to get a sense of whether I might be the right therapist for your child.
