Hi and welcome, I'm Gabi, I am an experienced BACP registered adolescent and adult counsellor. I see clients from 16 up,face to face and online. A lot of the clients come because they have been trying to manage anxiety and just need a little help. eg; Changes to the way we live due to covid,eg isolation, work f home, relationships and communication at work and home; school anxiety. Initial sessions are about listening to you, hearing what has bought you to counselling, what your wishes and goals are. I offer a relaxed confidential space in which you safely explore concerns and presenting problems.
I offer both short term CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and longer term counselling/psychotherapy. As an integrative counsellor I work holistically using an individualised approach. My way of working emphasises on the therapeutic relationship to empower you and help you recognise the life patterns causing you distress
Primarily, as your counsellor I am here to listen to you. I'm here to support you in our therapeutic space and the work we do collaboratively. We work at your pace to help you make sense of issues to bring about positive change.
