I’m Emily, a qualified therapist with many years of experience supporting children, young people, parents, and carers. I specialise in working with neurodivergent people, children (diagnosed or not) and those struggling with anxiety, separation anxiety, low mood, sleep difficulties, anger, demand avoidance, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, behavioural challenges, emotional dysregulation & PTSD.
If your child finds life overwhelming, or you feel unsure how best to support them, help is available. Together, we’ll explore practical strategies to help reduce stress, build resilience, and strengthen connection at home and at school.
Sessions are playful, creative, and sometimes movement-based, making them accessible for children who process differently or are non-verbal. I have a wide tool kit, including play therapy, drawing and talking, CBT, DBT, attachment work, behavioural psychology, and yoga, always tailored to each child & family.
I once thought that working in a warzone was the hardest job I’d ever do, until I became a parent. When things feel difficult, you don’t have to manage it alone. At the heart of this work is helping families move from stress and conflict toward better emotional regulation, stronger relationships, and an improved quality of life so everyone is more content.
