About

Andy said counselling helped me 'to unpick what was going on and then things clicked into place, it changed my life'. Hi I am Frank. I see therapy as a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to explore your perspective, feelings and history. I have seven years training and qualifications however what is most important is whether you feel comfortable with me. I offer face to face and on-line counselling. I have particular interests in anxiety, anger, substance misuse and trauma post-Pandemic. Starting counselling is not easy so if you want to test the water please give me a call or send an email.
I am an integrated therapist. I came from a person-centred perspective, however I am interested in existential, jungian and relational psychodynamic approaches. I have worked in the public sector, with young people and in substance misuse. I am particularly interested in helping people with trauma post the pandemic.
I understand how it feels to reach out for a therapist. I felt unsure, intrigued and nervous. I also felt I needed to do something. That was when I was 24! A long time later I have found therapy has helped me at key moments in my life. Most important it was about feeling safe. NHS & Social Care staff are a focus for me post-Covid. Let me know what you think.
