A qualified counsellor with a special interest in working with trauma. This includes stress and burnout from a trauma informed perspective. An empathetic and engaged therapist; working with the belief that awareness is our greatest agent of change. An integrated, personal approach to Counselling which places you and your experience first and foremost. Understanding that our past shapes who we are, but the present is where the real growth happens. Bringing in knowledge of how our attachments, communications and thinking can be understood and adapted to make our experience of life more fulfilling.
I have a special interest in working with stress, burnout and overwhelm from a trauma informed perspective. I look at how all our systems interact to influence how we feel, think and behave. During my training I have primarily worked from a trauma informed approach. Understanding how impactful events can change the way we perceive the world.
I believe we all have within us the ability to grow and transform. However, sometimes we find ourselves in situations where we have become stuck, fragmented, or the path we once were on becomes unclear. As your counsellor I will work alongside you to help you recalibrate in the world you find yourself in.
